45th Annual Key West Offshore World Championship

November 1–8, 2026 · Truman Waterfront Park, Key West

The 45th Annual XINSURANCE Key West World Championship runs Sunday, November 1 through Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Truman Waterfront Park. It’s the season finale of the Race World Offshore calendar and the oldest continuously run event on the RWO schedule — the only stop with its own standalone world championship title alongside APBA National and UIM points. The course runs a lap of just over four miles through Key West Harbor, mixing calm inshore water with rougher open stretches, with boats topping 140 mph on the fastest legs.

Beyond the Race Village at Truman Waterfront, good vantage points include Mallory Square, Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park, Sunset Pier, and Simonton Street Beach, plus harbor front hotels overlooking the course. General admission is $25 per day at the Outer Mole entrance. Children 12 and under and military personnel with ID get in free.

Each race day carries seven scheduled race times, running from 10:00am through 3:15pm. Race Village at Truman Waterfront is open on race days with food, drinks, and merchandise. Additional race-week events — the annual boat building contest, VIP parties, and driver meet-and-greets — are listed on the official schedule.

Getting There

Truman Waterfront Park sits at the end of Southard Street on the west side of the island. Parking nearby is limited, so organizers encourage rideshare, bicycles (helmets required), or the free Duval Loop bus. Coolers, outside food and drink, drones, weapons, scooters, tents, backpacks, and golf carts aren’t permitted on site, and personal items are subject to search by NAS Key West security.
