Historic Hideaways has been locally owned and operated by the same people since 1996, right here, downtown, at 1109 Duval Street. For 30 years we’ve been matching guests with the best vacation homes on the island — private homes, cottages, townhomes, and condos. We specialize in Weekly as well as Monthly and Seasonal Key West Vacation Rentals. All our vacation home properties are located on the island of Key West itself…most in the Old Town Historic District. Pools, shared or private, are standard with most of our Key West vacation home rentals. We also offer full property management services. Whether you’re booking a week in Old Town, a month in Casa Marina, or the season in Truman Annex, you’ll get the same personal service we’ve been known for since the beginning.
We’re not a franchise. We’re not backed or owned by investment firms or conglomerates from out of town. We’re a Key West company run by Key West people. When you call us, you reach someone who’s a few minutes from your rental, not a few time zones away. That matters more than ever. We’ve stayed independent because we believe the best vacation rental experience comes from people who know the island personally — the quiet streets, the best restaurants, the neighbor next door.
Typical Hours of Operation
Monday to Friday – Open 9AM – 5PM
Saturday – 12 – 5PM / Sunday – CLOSED
We typically close for holidays and special events and sometimes close for an hour during mid-day for lunch. We check our voice messages upon returning so please leave a message if we are closed for a return call.
After Hours/Emergency number for Guests currently in house in one of our vacation rentals – that number is 305.304.2697. (Does NOT accept texts.) Please leave a detailed message; messages are monitored and calls that cannot wait until the next business day (at our discretion) will be returned. Otherwise, we will get back to you the next business day.
