Elton Dan & The Rocket Band bring their Elton John tribute to the Key West Theater. The band formed in 2015 and has since played more than 700 shows across 38 states, including a crowd of 18,000 at Kool Deadwood Nights in South Dakota in 2024 and a sold-out night at the Wynn Palace in Macau.

The set draws from the run of albums Elton John released across the 1970s and 80s. Expect “Rocket Man,” “Crocodile Rock,” “Philadelphia Freedom,” “The Bitch Is Back,” and “I’m Still Standing,” with deep cuts and band favorites like “Levon,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Madman Across the Water,” and “Pinball Wizard” turning up as well, plus the occasional duet.

Dan’s piano playing carries the show, along with the costumes. The band’s pitch is a room full of people who came to sing along, and they play to that.
